Chelsy & Evan’s wedding at Dunbar Ranch on May 31st was straight-up magic. If you’ve never been to Dunbar Ranch before, picture this: a private mountain estate just outside Aspen, surrounded by open space, spring in full bloom, and the occasional bit of wildlife wandering through the backdrop. The sunshine showed up in full force, lighting up every corner of the property and making everything feel extra vibrant. Honestly, it was one of those perfect Colorado days that just makes filming a total dream.

Everything about the day felt relaxed and heartfelt. Chelsy & Evan brought such great energy, and their guests—from all over—added to the warm, easygoing vibe. One of my favorite moments was the Rapid Grass Band playing live during the ceremony and then keeping the tunes rolling into the evening. Bluegrass music echoing through the mountains as everyone mingled, toasted, and danced—it doesn’t get better than that. From a videographer’s perspective, the setting, the people, and the pace of the day just clicked. The footage turned out beautiful.

It’s always a joy to film weddings that feel this genuine, and I’m so stoked with how Chelsy & Evan’s films came together. Their love, their people, and the overall feel of the day made it something truly memorable.
